CARE Bangladesh

See how Kaz Software built a unified humanitarian MIS powering data-driven decisions for Rohingya and host community programs.

Managing large-scale humanitarian operations requires more than compassion—it demands control, visibility, and precision. CARE Bangladesh needed one centralized MIS to unify fragmented data across refugee and host community programs, ensuring faster action, accountability, and measurable impact.

The Need

CARE Bangladesh required a centralized humanitarian data system that could integrate multiple programs,

track diverse indicators, and improve operational speed across complex field environments.

Consolidate Nabapallab, Bijoyee, CNHA & DFAT IV programs under one MIS

Support 100,000+ users including field teams and beneficiaries

Enable DIP/IPTT-based donor reporting

Achieve 60% faster execution with unified workflows

The Solution

We built a centralized MIS for CARE Bangladesh’s DFAT IV initiative, unifying Nabapallab, Bijoyee, CNHA, and DFAT IV into one platform for beneficiary tracking, DIP/IPTT reporting, and cross-program visibility. The system preserves program-specific forms and indicators while enabling consolidated analysis and donor-aligned reporting using DIP/IPTT standards. Data previously scattered across spreadsheets and separate systems now flows through integrated digital workflows covering registration, activity tracking, and indicator monitoring.
Using a field-led design approach, our team worked directly in Cox’s Bazar to ensure the MIS fit real humanitarian operations—offline capability, low-bandwidth performance, multilingual support, protection-sensitive workflows, and practical field usability. A live reporting engine delivers real-time dashboards, role-based access, and automated alerts for lagging indicators and follow-up needs. The platform has driven measurable gains, including 30% faster program execution, 25% fewer delays, and digital monitoring at scale with 100,000+ users across Rohingya and host community programs.

The Challenge

Integrating multiple humanitarian programs under one MIS while keeping donor alignment and field practicality intact required balancing technical architecture with empathy for ground realities.

Emergency Room Arrival

The Partnership

Our partnership with the British Red Cross was grounded in empathy and innovation. Together, we worked with field responders and FSCD teams to design a system that performs under real-world pressure.
The platform—built on Android, ASP.NET Core, AWS, RDS MySQL, and GIS mapping tools—digitized volunteer coordination, incident validation, and response tracking into one connected ecosystem.

The Partnership

Our partnership with CARE Bangladesh began in the field, not the boardroom. We observed, mapped, and designed directly alongside their humanitarian teams in Cox’s Bazar to ensure every feature served real-world needs.

Built on .NET Core, Angular, and Flutter, the platform bridges donor frameworks (DIP, IPTT) with on-ground realities—creating a living system that accelerates response and amplifies impact.
