What UNICEF needed to make gender-transformative learning practical for teachers
UNICEF needed a digital training experience that could help secondary school teachers understand how gender inequality can influence everyday teaching and learning. Rather than presenting gender concepts only as theory, the course needed to connect them with situations teachers could recognize from their own experiences. It also needed to encourage reflection, test understanding, and help participants translate what they learned into practical actions for creating more inclusive classrooms.
The interactive teacher training experience we built for UNICEF
Kaz Software developed an interactive, SCORM-compatible training experience built around stories, real-life situations, reflection, and active participation. Teachers move through experience-based learning activities, worksheets, quizzes, self-assessments, and practical exercises that help them examine gender dynamics within education. The learning journey culminates in personal action planning, helping participants connect course concepts with changes they can apply in their own classroom practices.
