What US home healthcare agencies needed to connect care operations
Home healthcare agencies needed a connected system for managing the operational journey from scheduling care to billing for completed visits. Patient information, caregiver assignments, service authorizations, visit verification, care documentation, invoices, and payer submissions all needed to work together while supporting multiple agencies within the same platform.
The connected EVV and billing platform we built with webEVV
Kaz Software developed webEVV as a multi-tenant platform connecting patient and caregiver management with scheduling, location-verified visits, care documentation, and billing. Caregivers can check in and out with location verification, record completed activities, notes, photos, and patient signatures, while agencies can monitor operations, generate invoices across multiple billing cycles, and manage payer and EVV aggregator workflows.
The Challenge
The challenge was coordinating several dependent healthcare workflows without losing operational accuracy. Authorized services had to inform scheduling, completed visits had to produce reliable care records, and verified activity needed to flow into billing and external payer processes. The platform also had to support multiple agencies while improving billing workflows and maintaining per-visit status and retry visibility for external submissions.
