When these activities are handled through spreadsheets, phone calls, and disconnected tools, even a well-run logistics business can lose visibility as transaction volumes increase. TogaOS was designed as a multi-tenant cloud platform for freight and logistics companies that need a more structured way to manage shipment operations and financial control. The platform brings goods receiving, container management, shipment tracking, invoicing, payment recording, customer credit, reporting, and automated communication into one connected environment.




Why fragmented logistics operations create financial blind spots


In many logistics businesses, operational and financial workflows develop separately. Shipment teams focus on cargo movement, finance teams maintain invoice and payment records, and customer communication takes place through email or messaging applications. The business may technically have all the required information, but it is spread across too many places to provide a reliable operational picture.

This becomes particularly difficult when teams need to track customer credit limits, advance payments, unpaid invoices, supplier payments, or outstanding balances against active shipments. A spreadsheet can record individual transactions, but it does not automatically connect them to the wider customer relationship or operational workflow. The result is often delayed reconciliation, duplicated work, and slower decision-making. TogaOS addresses this through integrated shipment and financial modules. Goods receiving notes, container records, invoices, customer payments, supplier payment collections, advances, and outstanding balances can be managed within the same platform.



The technology behind a scalable multi-tenant logistics software


One of the platform’s most practical features is its Excel import system. Logistics companies often hold years of shipment and financial data in spreadsheets, so replacing those files overnight is rarely realistic. TogaOS supports downloadable templates for air and cargo operations, XLS and XLSX uploads, automatic row parsing, and manual editing before records are submitted. This allows organizations to move existing data into a structured system without discarding the workflows and records they already depend on. The platform also includes role-based access for system administrators, tenant administrators, and operational users. Each organization operates within an isolated workspace, while administrators can configure users, credit limits, and operational rules. Another important tool is the WhatsApp Business API integration. TogaOS is planned as a multi-tenant SaaS application, meaning multiple logistics organizations can use the same core platform while keeping their data and workspaces separate. This architecture is useful for a product intended to support different companies, teams, and permission structures without maintaining an entirely separate codebase for each tenant. The application uses Next.js for the frontend, a REST API for backend communication, and PostgreSQL with Supabase for data management. JWT authentication and role-based access control support secure user access, while cloud storage is planned for files and operational documents. The platform can be hosted on AWS or Microsoft Azure, allowing the infrastructure to be aligned with deployment and scaling requirements.



How Kaz Software is helping shape TogaOS


Kaz Software is working with Toga Zembera on the design and development of TogaOS as a connected logistics software for freight operations, credit control, cash-flow management, invoicing, and customer communication. The work includes architecture design, core platform development, Excel data processing, financial modules, WhatsApp integration, testing, quality assurance, deployment, and training. Instead of focusing only on shipment tracking, TogaOS connects the operational side of freight with the financial information that determines whether the business remains healthy. For Kaz Software, the project also demonstrates the importance of designing around the way a logistics company already operates. TogaOS is therefore not simply a digital replacement for spreadsheets. It is a planned operating platform that brings logistics activity, financial control, and customer communication into one system built for long-term use.
